Downland Opti-Foam

A ready to use, pre-milking foam cleaner, formulated to clean, disinfect and condition the cows teats before the milking process.

OPTI-FOAM contains chlorhexidine gluconate and lactic acid as dual biocides as well as allantoin and glycerol to help smooth and soften the skin.

OPTI-FOAM has a broad spectrum of bactericidal activity and has been tested in a UKAS Accredited Laboratory and passes EN 1656 with a contact time of 30 seconds, showing that it is effective against a wide range of organisms in the presence of milk.
